Aaj kay dor mein ay dost yeh manzar kion hai?
Zakhm her sir pay, her ek haath mein pathar kion hai?

Jab haqeeqat hai kay her zarray mein tu rehta hai
Phir zameen per kahin masjid, kahin mandir kion hai?

Apna anjaam tu maloom hai sab ko phir bhi
Apni nazron mein her insaan sikardar kion hai?

Zindagi jeenay kay qaabil hee nahi ab faakir
Warna her aankh mein ashkon ka samandar kion hai?

Aaj kay dor mein ay dost yeh manzar kion hai?
Zakhm her sir pay, her ek haath mein pathar kion hai?

Main bhi kitni pagal hoon na
Sang hawa k urna chahoon
Titli ban kar nagri nagri
Gulshan Gulshan phirna chahoon
Phooloon k sab rang chura kar
Chunri apni rangna chahoon
Main bhi kitni pagal hoon na
