Itanaa to huaa ai dil ik shaKhs ke jaane se
bichhaDe hue milate hain kuchh dost puraane se

ek aag hai jangal kii rusavaaii kaa charchaa hai
dushman bhii chale aaye milane ke bahaane se

ab meraa safar tanhaa ab us kii judaa manzil
puuchho na pataa us kaa tum mere Thikaane se

roshan hue viiraane Khush ho gayii duniyaa bhii
kuchh ham bhii sukuun se hain ghar apanaa jalaane se

rusavaaii to vaise bhii taqadiir hai aashiq kii
zillat bhii milii hamako ulfat ke fasaane se
