Kitnay wo itmenaan se thukra gaya mujhay,
aansoo bana ke aankh se tapka gaya mujhay..

kaisee ye rehbaree thi ye kaisa fareb tha,
munzil dekha ke raah se bhatka gaya mujhay..

khamosh nigahon se kahani suna gaya,
lafzon ke hair phair mein atka gaya mujhay..

mujhko bhi bachpanay ka ek mazaq samajh kar,
chhoti si ek hansi mein hee ura gaya mujhay..

do din mein us kay dil se muhabbat utar gayee,
aur do hi din mein yaad se mitaa gaya mujhay…..
