Teri yaad Meri kitaab ho naye saal may.
Koi zakham phir se gulab ho naye saal may.
Kaei barg-e-sabz B zard patton may urh gaye.
Gaye musamon ka hisaab ho naye saal may.
Mein gubaar ban k khalaon may kahen ja chupon.
Meri yun na matti kharaab ho naye saal may.
Kisi be nawa ki nawa sune koi hukhumraan.
Kabi ye B kaar-e-sawab ho naye saal may.
Koi abar aa k baras parhe Meri aankh se.
Kisi qehet ka na azzab ho naye saal may.
Mein na jee sakoon ga haqiqaton k hisaar may.
Wahi khawab ho wahi khawab ho naye saal may.
Zara "Baqi" Shah faqir pe B ho ek nazar.
Zara uska dil B gulab ho naye saal may.
