Kharaabi mujh me hai par is qadar nahi hai
mera dil saqt sahi lekin ye patthar nahi hai

wo aur honge jinhe haasil ho gaya sab kuch
har cheez mile mujh ko mera muqaddar nahi hai

is dil ke dasht me wo sheher to mil gaya mujhe
teri ulfat me banaya tha jo wo ghar nahi hai

teri qismat me to likhi hai sadaa ki teergi aye dost
naseeb me tere andhera hai roshan saher nahi hai

log aakhir kyun karte hain mout ki tamanna
zindagi to hai amrit ka pyala jaam e zaher nahi hai
