Ye jo dil hai tuutaa saa, unka karam hai yaaroN
Kafan meiN jahaaN soya, unka haram hai yaaroN

Ye hasrat hai, unkaa jii bharkar karuuN mai deedaar
Be-pardaa kha.daa woh, apnaa bharam hai yaaroN

Alfaaz tak bayaaN humse naa huuey, wo hai farhaNg
Zamaane ke riiwaaj haiN yaa pir sitam hai yaarooN

Pa.dhaa thaa kahiiN paaeli hotii hai soch dil kii
Ye Dil maantaa isii ko dharam hai yaaroN
