Kuch sheher mein hain patthar ziyada

Kuch hum bhi devaaney hain

Phir taaza zakhmoun ki khwahish

Kitney zakhm puraaney hain

Ek brsaat ka mosam zaalim

Ek hum tehrey naazuk dil

Baadal dekh ke roleney ko

Hum ko laakh bahaaney hain

Pehroun khud mein gum sum rehna

Aur bhooley bathkey phirna

Sooni aankhun ke aangan mein

Kitney khwaab puraaney hain
