Kuch yun hum wafaon main rahe
Aanso umar bhar nigahon main rahe

Kiye jin ko sajday khuda ki tarhan
Un hi ki di hui sazaon main rahe

Main usay bhala khud se kese juda karta
Jo mere saaye ki tarhan meri raahon main rahe

Us ne khud hi bujha diye umeedon ke chiragh
Warna yeh deep to jalte hawaon main rahe
