Tu sach sunta nahi, sher apne tujhe sunaoo kaise
Jo dete rahe zakhm, unhe zakhm-e-dil dikhaoo kaise

Jo dete rahe daleel, nasamajh hain
Un danishwaro ko baat apni samjhaoo kaise

Parda hain lazmi, teri zaat ka mujh par
Aye parda nashee bata, pass tere aaoo kaise

Na ahde wafa tha koi, na inkare mohabbat
Bina jane anjam-e-mohabbat, main mar jaoo kaise

Itne huye woh gamzada, bad mere qatl ke
Waqt-e-qaza yeh fikr thi, unko hasaoo kaise
