Ek bybasi ha in aankhon mein
Tumari kami mehsos hoti ha in saason mein

Khwabon mein raheta houn khoye khoye se
Dhadkhanin kyun tham jati hain tere ane se

Aap se dooriyan mehsos hone lagi ashq nikalte hain chupke se
Aarzoo-e-dil muje hone lagi dil tadapta ha yuon chupke se

Dekhte hain hum tumari aankhon mein chupke se
Ho gaye hain hum aap ke kasam se

Agar wo pochin tu un se kehna un ka aashiq basta tha yehan
Dikhana un ko wo peepal ka peid
our kehna gaane wo tenhai mein gungunata tha yehan
Le jana un ko darwaze pe our kehna intezar
wo kiya karta tha yehan
Phir rakhna ungli dil pe our kehna
Shikayat karta tha k dard hota ha yehan
