Tere Duppattey ki
us gaanth ko main
aaj bhi kahan
bhool paaya hoon,
jise aksar tu
mere na milney per
baandha karti thi,
aur wahi teri naaraazgi ki
nishaani si ban gayi thi.
Jane kyon nahin
himmat jutaa paata tha main
us gaanth ko kholney ki.
Jaanta tow tha
apni galtiyon ko per
kabhi jata nahin paata tha main.

Duppattey ki us gaanth ko
kholney ki aaj mujhmein
himmat tow hai
magar!!
gaanth laga hua
woh Duppatta
aaj jaaney kahan
gumm ho gaya hai
