judia ke lamhat chaar hue
phir ek bar hum lachar hue

socha tha ke khokar payenge
mile magar woh raazdar hue

manaya dil ko apne aap hi
phir bhi yeh chasm aabdar hue

ab kya kare aarzooyen unki
ke shab-e-intezar se bedar hue
