tuu paas bhi ho to dil beqaraar apanaa hai
ke ham ko teraa nahin intazaar apanaa hai

mile koi bhi teraa zikr cheer dete hain
ke jaise saaraa jahaan raazdaar apanaa hai

wo duur ho to bajaa tark-e-dosti kaa khayaal
wo saamane ho to kab ikhtiyaar apanaa hai

zamaane bhar ke dukhon ko lagaa liyaa dil se
is aasare pe ke ik gamgusaar apanaa hai

‘Faraz’ raahat-e-jaan bhi vahi hai kyaa kije
wo jis ke haath se sinaafigaar apanaa hai
