nigah e naaz ki junbish pay jaal uthay taary
phir oskay baad chiraghon main roshni na rahi
ajab shahra e eshq ki manzil hai yeh
mila Khuda to tamana e bandagi na rahi
woh kaisay paal thay kay mehfil ki jaan thay hum bhi
aur ab ye haal kay khud say bhi dosti na rahi
kahan kahan pay hakumat hai oski yadon ki
woh kia gya kay gulon main bhi tazgi na rahi
guzar to na saky jaan say par tumhary baad
rahi zarur mgar waisi zindagi na rahi
wo aik dam say jo roshan hoe hain dil kay kanwal
udas dil kay dareechon main tergi na rahi
