Rooth jaate hain hum apne aap se, kabhi kabhi,
Khamoshi aur aanso ki panha mein chhoop jaate hain kabhi kabhi,
Kandho aur bahein ki pyaas mein dil ka diya booj jaye,
Apni bheeni roshni mein dhire se bejaan hote jaate hain kabhi kabhi…

wo jo har baar ek naya bhais badal laita hai
laakh mujh se kaha tha mere yaaro ne
ishq darya hai jo ashiqo ko nigal laita hai
