jab tuta hai dil toh fariyaad kyu na karu
unki yaadon se dil ko azaad kyu na karu

kaheta hai dil woh bhul gaye hume toh kya
ki hai mohabbat toh unhe yaad kyu na karu

cheen li unho ne meri jeene tak ki ummid
apni zindagi khud hi barbaad kyu na karu

likhi hai kismat mein jo gumon ki parchaayi
tanhaiyon se hi fir dil shaad kyu na karu

hum mar bhi gaye toh unhe milengi khushi
marne ki koshish har saas ke baad kyu na karu
