Bahoot tamanna thi, pyar mein aashiyan banane ki,
Bana chuke to lag gayi Nazar zammane ki.
Usi ka karz hai jo aaj hain aankhon mein aansoo,
Saza mili hai hume muskurane ki

Hasraton pe rivaajo ka sakhta pehraa hai,
Na jaane kaun si ummeed pe jaake yeh dil thehraa hai,
Meri aankhonmein se chhalakte hue yeh ashk aur gam ki kasam;
Mera yeh pyaar... Bahot gehraa hai...

Aansuo mein raat bhar rona para ,
Tery milan sy to haath dhona para ,
Tery milna tha khwaab mera ;
Khwaab laany k liye sona para...

Taarikh ke duniya mein kabhi aisa bhi dor aayi hai...
Lamhon ne khata ke hai, Sadiyon ne sazaa paayi hai...
Zindagi mein do he lamhe bari mushkil sy guzaary ,
Ek tery aane sy pehlay... or ek tery jaany k baad...
