Ansoo may nahaye woh eik masoom larki

Kitni khubsurat lag rahi thi us raat may

Us ki Woh udass see bari hohe anhkayen

Kitni khali khali see nazar arahi thi

Sub may aik laga sa chara uska tha

Sub may hoo ker be woh sub may nai thi

Uski khubsorat ankhon may kuch udassi see thi

Uskay ansoo may koi chara nazar ata tha

Dhakta tha woh sub kuch tha uskay pass

Nazar may Dhaka tu kuch be nai tha uskay pass

Woh masoom say chara aur Dard bari ankhanye

Uskay guzaray howay halat bayan kerti thi

Chand be uska dewana nazar ata tha us raat ko

Chand nay be apni roshani de uskay charay ko

Mahfil may sub uskay charay ko dhaktay rahy **

Ankhon ka Dard uski eik kubsurati ki ada ban gaye

Ansoo may nahaye woh eik masoom larki

Kitni khubsurat lag rahi thi us raat may ..
