khuli jo ankh tou woh thaa na woh zamana thaa,
Dehkti aag thee tanhaayi thee fasana thaa, Gamon ney baant liya mujhe yuun aapas mein, Kay jaisay main koi loota hua khazana thaa, Yeh kya chund hee qadmon par thak kay baith gaye, Tumhein tou saath mera duur tak nibhana thaa, Mujhe jo merey lahoo mein dubo kay guzra hai, Woh koi gair nhin yaar ek poorana thaa, Khud apney hee haath say uss ko kaat diya, Kay jiss darakht kee tehni pay ashiyaana thaa...
