Muhabbatoon ka teri ihtiraaf main ney kia
Phhir ik jahaan ko apnay khilaaf main ney kia

Yahaan to chup thay sabi maslihat ke qaidi thay
Faseel-e-jabr men laikin shigaaf main ney kia

Kia muaaf na khud ko mowaakhzay men kabhi
Sitam garoon ka sitam to muaaf main ney kia

Naqeeb-e-haq hoon main, haq ke liye to ba'z auqaat
Khud apni raay se bhi ikhtilaaf main ney kia

Ghazal pe gard jami thi puraanay lehjoon ki
Is aainay ko magar kuchh to saaf main ney kia

Main jaanta tha usay, haq pe kon bolay ga
Wo shakhs main hi tha, ye inkishaaf main ney kia

Har aik zaavyay sey uss ko jaanchna tha mujay
Isi liye to kisi ka tawaaf main ney kia
