mujh se mera kya rishta hai har ik rishta bhool gaya
itne aine dekhe hain apna chehra bhool gaya

ab to ye bhi yad nahi hai farq tha kitna dono main
us ki batain yad rahi aur us ka lahja bhool gaya

pyasi dharti ke honTho par mera nam nahi to kya
mai wo badal ka tukra hoon jis ko dariya bhool gaya

dunya wale kuch bhi kahe "Rashid" apni majbori hai
us ki gali jab yad ai hai ghar ka rasta bhool gaya
