zulmat-e-shab main ujaalon ki tamana na karo
Khwab dekha hai to ab Khwab ko ruswa na karo

bojh sooraj ka parega to lachak jayengi
rat ki surmai shaKhon pe basera na karo

Khwab umeed nasha sans tabasuum ansoo
TooTne wali kisi shay pe bharosa na karo

hum ne ankhoo ko jalaya tha ki kuch dhondh chaTe
tum nai nasl ke sooraj ho tum aisa na karo

ashk pine ka hunar sikh lo hum se akar
jazba-e-dil ko nigahoo se haweda na karo

mausmi barf hain kuch der main bah jayenge
in badalte hue rishtoo pe bharosa na karo
