Ye enaayataiN ghazab ki Ye balaa kii meharbaanii
Merii khairiat bhi poochii kisi aur kii zabaanii

Mera gham rulaa chuka he tujhe bikhri zulf waale
Ye ghataa bataa rahii he ke baras chukaa he paanii

tera husn so rahaa thaa merii cheD ne jagaayaa
wo nigaah maiN ne daali ke sanwer gaii jawaanii

merii be zabaan aankhouN se gire haiN chend qatre
tuu samjh sake tu aansoo na samjh sake tu paanii
