Duniya bhar ki gardisheiun thi zakhm b kayee the
dukht to bahut tha, lekin main nahi roya maan

yaad to bahut aayi, kaye baar neend gawaye
judaa to bahut tha, lekin main nahi roya maan

Doord kar pukarta tha tujhe tu kaha hai maan
Girta to bahut tha, lekin main nahi roya maan

aakar apne haatho se khilaye tu ye zid thi meri
bhukha to bahut tha lekin main nahi roya maan

teri chayoun ke bagair payoun jalte thay dil jalta tha
thaka to bahut tha, lekin main nahi roya maan

ke sir chhupa kar aaj, teri goad me ro lu maan
chaaha to bahut tha, lekin main nahi roya maa…!
