Wo jo daway daar hain shehar me kay sab ka nabz shanas hon
Kabhi mujse aa ke poochta ke me kis ke ghum me udaas hon

Yea meri kitaab-e-hayat he esse dil ki aankh se parh zara
Me warq warq tere samne ru baru tere paas hon

Yea teri umeed ko kia hua kabhi tu ne ghoor nahi kia
Kisi shaam tu ne kaha to tha teri saans hon teri aas hon

Yea teri judai ka gham nahi yea silsilay to hain rooz ke
Teri zaat ess ka sabab nahi bohat dinon se yun hi udaas hon
