youn lagta hai kuch honay wala hai
ye dil koi dost khonay wala hai

dil ne kaha tu bohat hansta hai
daman ko ashkoon se bhiganay wala hai

tou kyun jaag raha hai ab tak pagal
woh to bhula k tujh ko sonay wala hai

tou ne ik din poocha tha kon ho tum?
teri zaat ko khud mein samonay wala hai

Ab apne qalm ko rok le asif
ye gazal parh kar koi ronay wala hai..
