Tanha thi aur hamesha se tanha hay zindagi
Hay naam zindagi ka magar kia hay zindagi,

Tanha thi aur hamesha se tanha hay zindagi

Yahan phool aarzuon k khiltey naheen kabhi
Bichreen jo aik bar woh miltey naheen kabi
Sunsaan rastoon ka tamasha hay zindagi,
Tanha thi aur hamesha se hay tanha zindagi

Har shama k naseeb main hay dard k dhunwan
Har phool ki hansi main chupa hay gam-e- khizaan
Yeh sab haseen khawab hain sholah hay zindagi

Tanha thi aur hamesha se tanha hay zindagi
Suraj ko aansuwoon k samandar main phaink doon
Jo mera bas chaley to sitaron ko nooch loun
Joothe hain sab chirag andhera hay zindagi,
Tanha thi aur hamesha se tanha hay zindagi
Hay naam zindagi ka magar kia hay zindagi..!!
