Khayalon main faqat ek sholah e awaaz baki hay
Na koi geet baki hay na koi saaz baki hai

Sab apney bhayd ham nay faash kar daalay zamanay par
Magar jo tuj sey kehna tha wohi ek raaz baki hai

Khudaawand hamien phir sey naii ek zindagi dey dey
Bareeda par hain lekin hasrat e parwaaaz baki hai

Nazar main raat k pichhlay pehar jesi khamoshe hay
Magar dil k dharakne ka wohi andaaaz baaki hai

_______ is ehd-bey-maani main lafzon ka hay yeh aalam
Ke maani ho gaye rukhhsat faqat awaaaz baki hai
