guzre hain ajj ishq mein hum uss muqam se
nafrat si hogai hai mohabbat ke naam se

husun ki sehar kariyan,ishq ke dil se poochiye
wasal kabhi hijr sa hijr kabhi wasal sa

ishq kiya chiz hai ik hasahr dar agosh khayal
husun kiya hai khuwab hai ik tamashai ka

saboot ishq ki yeh bhi to aik soorat hai
ke jis se pyarr karein iss pe mohabbat dheren

apni to dastan ishq ka yeh pehlo raha sada
nazren milen thin jis se muqaddar na mil saka

ishq ki kainat per naaz na karein to kiya karen
dil bhi tera diya huwa,gham bhi tera diya huwa

kiya khatam ker diya hai safar ahl-e-ishq ne
raaste pare huwe hain musafir nahi rahe

safar hai ishq ka shayad yeh kaam aa jaen
mein apni ankh se ansoo bachae rakhongi
