Shab e tanhayi
Woh ju bare sukh mein hay
Usay kehna
K raat ka pichla paher hay
Aur abhi hum jaagte hain
Humari ankhon se neend kooson door hay
Humare lab abhi tak us k naghmay gungunate hain
Humara zehan ab bhi us ki batain sochta hay tou
Kabhi hum hans se dete hain
Kabhi jee bher k rote hain
Shab e tanhayi ki yakh basta hawao
Usay kehna hum ab bhi ba'wazu ho ker tumhara naam lete hain
Usay kehna' ya apna naqsh dho jaye
Ya phir se apna ho jaye
