Pehny hon jesy chand ne gajry gulab k.

Likha hy tera naam b chahat k khoon sy
Aao warq dikhaon main dil ki kitab k

Itni pila day aaj k ji bhr k royen hum
Niklen humari aankh say aanso shrab k

Utra wo is tarha se smandr ki goad mein
Jitney bhanwar thay so gaye pehlu mein aab k

Didaar-e-yaar kesey ho aaj kal
Pehry hein chand chehry pe kalay naqab k

Mil k raat bhr phir b nahin mila
Suraj bta gya hy ye dhoky thy khwab k.
