Tamana le k ulfat ki mere angan mein wo aya
Mohabbat rog hai dil ka usse ye maine samjhaya
Kaha uss ne mohabbat kar shareek-e-ghum bana mujh ko
Karoonga main zamane ki khushi se ashna tum ko
Hua majboor main yaro, kia iqrar ulfat ka
Laga di jan ki bazi, samjh kar khail qismat ka
Hui maloom phir us ki haqiqat ye zamane se
Usse taskeen milti hai, kisi ka dil dukhane se
