A musaw'wirr bana ! bana ker laa

Habs ko phayltaa dikha dil mein
Phir usay jaa-ba-jaa bana ker laa

Derd kuch laa-dawa sa lagnay lagay
Zakhm ko naar'saa bana ker laa

Jis jagha per diya bana hai dekh
Ab yahaan per hawaa bana ker laa

Aankh mein rung bhar unaabi sa !
Phir us hi ko khafaa bana ker laa

Ik musaafir thaka hua sa or !
Door tak raasta banaa ker laa

Door tak ghoorti hui aankhein
Aasmaan mein khalaa bana ker laa

Jis jagha per tamaam ho rasta
Bas waheen haadsaa bana ker laa !
