Ab yeah sochoon to bhanwar zahan mein par jatay hain
kaisay chehray hain jo milte hain bichar jatay hain

Kion tere durd ko dien tuhmat-e-weerani-e-dil?
Zalzaloon mein to bharay shehar ujar jatay hain

Mousam-e-durd mein ik dil ko bachaoon kaisay???
Taiz andhi mein to khaimay bhi ukhar jatay hain

Soch ka aaina dhundla ho to phir waqt ke sath
chand chehroon ke khad-o-khaal bigar jatay hain

Shidat-e-ghum mein bhi zinda hoon to hairat kaisi???
Kuch diye tund hawaoon se bhi larde jatay hain

Wo bhi kia log hain "Mohsin" jo wafa ki khatir
Khud Tarasheeda asooloon pe bhi urd jatay hain
