Din Saliqe Se Uga, Rat Thikane Se Rahi
dosti apni bhi kuch roz zamane se rahi

chand lamhon ko hi banati hain musavir ankhen
zindagi roz to tasvir banane se rahi

is andhere men to Thokar hi ujala degi
rat jangal men koi shama jalane se rahi

fasla chand bana deta hai har patthar ko
dur ki roshni nazadik to ane se rahi

shar men sab ko kahan milati hai rone ki fursat
apni izzat bhi yahan hansane-hansane se rahi
