Shikwa-e-ishq nahi,jurrat-e-guftar nahi,
Mere hathon mein jabbr ki talwar nahi,

Ibn-e-aadam hoon, insan se muhabbat ki hai,
Aag ka, chand ka, pathar ka paristar nahi,

ay khuda mujh ko muhabbat dy ebadat ke ooz,
main teri kisi bhi jannat ka khareedar nahi,

jis ne insan se mohabbat hi na ki ho DOST
dar-haqeeqat woh khuda ka bhi talab-gaar nahi.'
