Mein jo mehka to meri shakh jal di uss ne
Sabz mausam mein mujhe zard hawa di uss ne
Pehlay ik lamhay ki zanjeer se bandha mujhko
Or phir waqat ki raftaar barha di usse ne
Meri nakaam mohabbat mujhe wapis kar di
Yunh mere haath meri laash thama di uss ne
Wo janta tha mujhe maut sakoon bakhshegi
Wo sitamgar tha so jeene ki dua di uss ne
Uss k hone se sansein thi dugni
Wo jo bichra to meri umar ghata di uss ne
