Dil kay sun_san jaziroo ki Khabar layega
dard pehloo se juda ho ke kaha jayega
yun hota hai kisi ka shab-e-tanhai main
ghum-e-furqat hi ghum-e-ishq ko behlayega
chand ke pehloo main dam sadh ke roti hai kiran
aj taroon ka fusoon Khak nazar ayega
rakh main ag dabi hai ghum-e-maharoomi ki
rakh ho kar bhi ye shola humain sulagayega
Waqt Khamosh hai roothay hoay yaroo ki tarah
kyun lao dete hoay zakhmoo ko sahalayega
dhoop ko dekh ke us jism pe parti hai jhamak
chahoo daykhegy to us zulf ka dhyan ayega
