Abhi kuch pul hamarey haath main hain
koan jaaney
konsa lamha hamarey haath say phisley, girey
or paoon ki zanjeer hojayey
abhi yeh din jo lagta hay k hum ik doosrey k saath
reh saktey hain pal do pal
najaaney kub kahan deewaar bun jayain
abhi do chaar saansain buch rahi hain
yeh to jhaunka hain
kisey maloom kis aahistagi say yoon guzar jayay
k hum daryaoun k do mukhtalif na'aashna goongey kinaaroun par
kharey
ik doosrey ki shakal takney ko taras jayain
meri awaaz teri yaad main zinda hou bus
or main teri tasweer aankhoun main liyey rona chupaoon
shehar waaloun say
abhi kuch pul hamarey haath main hain
hum jo chahain gain to kuch kum kum bhi mil lain gain
magar jaaney kahan.... ?
