apne har ashk ko sine mai dabaye rakha
ashk aaye bhi to palko mai chipaye rakha

tu yuhi lout k aa jata kbhi chalte-chalte
humne palko ko teri raha mai bichaye rakha

humko manjur tha sanam tera rah-e-bharam
hath chuta bhi to risto ko banaye rakha

tere darbar mai ho jaye kis lamhe kabul
yahi soch kar dast-eidua phaliye rakha

tumne ek pal mai mere khawab kiye reza-reza
maine ek umr jhine dil mai chipaye rakha

dil dhakadne ka sabab hai faqat ki naam tera
humne is tarah tujhe khud mai samye rakha

tu mujhe bhul gaya hai magar e jaan-e-wafa
teri chahat ko aab bhi sine mai basaye rakha
