Mein neh kaha raat bhr nennd nahein aati hai
uss neh kaha kya meri yaad sataati hai
mein neh kaha kabi khwabon mein milne aaya karo
uss neh kaha humein bazam e khyal mein bulaya karo
mein neh kaha kya qeemat hai aap keh dil mein rehne ki
uss neh kaha tujeh himat he nahein kraaya dene ki
mein neh kaha kuch din mehman samajh kar rakh lijiyeh
uss neh kaha pehleh akelaypan ka maza chakh lijiye
mein neh kaha umar keh sath vazan be badhta jaa raha hai
uss neh kaha mein fon rakhti hoon koi aah raha hai
