شائد کبھی بہار بھی لوٹ آئے میرے گھر
غنچہ کوئی امید کا مسکائے میرے گھر
پنچھی بھی گائیں گیت سہانے منڈیر پہ
اور تتلیوں کا غول بھی لہرائے میرے گھر
دیوار و در پہ بیل مسرت کی ایک دن
چپکے سے مسکرا کے لٹک جائے میرے گھر
گھیرا ہے تیز دھوپ نے مجھ کو چہار سو
آئے گھٹا اور چھا کے برس جائے میرے گھر
ہو ناز مجھ کو اپنے مقدر پر کس قدر
وہ ہمدم دیرینہ جو آ جائے میرے گھر
ممکن ہے واپسی میری تقدیر کی مگر
اللہ اس کو موڑ کے لے آئے میرے گھر
