Kuch to dunya ki inayat nay dil tor diya
aur kuch talkhi-e-halat nay dil tor diya

Ham to samjhay thay k barsaat main barsay gi sharab
Aaye barsaat to barsaat nay dil tor diya

Dil to rota raha or aankh say aansu na bahay
Ishq ki aaisi riwayat nay dil tor diya

Wo meray hain mujhe mil jayen gay aa jayen gay
Aaisay bekaar khayalat nay dil tor diya

Aap ko pyar hay mujhe say k nahin hay mujhe say
Janay kyon aaisay sawalat nay dil tor diya
