raat roti hai bichad kar tum se
chand gum sum hai hawa band fizaon ki tarah
ungliyan kampti hain
hont yak-lakht kisi zalim o be-rahm tashanuj se lipat jate hain
jab kabhi band darichon ki taraf dekta hoon
hook uth-ti hai mere seenay ki gehrayi se
barishein bichrhay hoye logo ki
kis kadar dost howa karti hain'
barf kar deti hain jaltay hoowe angaron ko
aur kabi barf ko aatish mien badal deti hain

meri veerani
meri be-chaini
teri jaan soz judai ki alam-naki mein
iss tarah uljey hoowe hain ke sulajtey he nahi
jis tarah kaanton bari shakh mein aanchal koi
thoda kichta hai to kuch aur ulaj jata hai
din bilakta hai tere hijr ke soonay pan mien
shaam ghabra ke sisak uthti hai
RAAT ROTI HAI BICHAR KAR TUM SE
ungliyan kampti hain
hont yak-lakht kisi zalim o be-rahm tashanuj se lipat jatey hain
