Tanhahi mein rote hain wo,
hothon pe tabassum hai to kya hua,
zindagi jeete hain wo,
har zahar peete hain to kya hua!

hum duaon mein unki khushiyan mangte rahe,
humsafar unko mila aur hamein tanhayee to kya hua!

hum saath unke chalne ki koshish karte rahe,
manzil unko mili aur hum bhatakte rahe to kya hua!

kabhi naa chahaa humne unke ghar mein andhera,
roshni ke liye apna aashiyana jal gaya to kya hua!

aaj bhi apni parchhayion mein dhoondta hoon usey,
yaad to taaza hai hum maazi hue to kya hua...
