Bipasha Basu, the dusky, husky, hot sexy siren of bollywood who was in a relationship with handsome hunk John Abraham for over a decade, has split from her beau on the question of marriage.

Sources close to bong babe reveal that while Bipasha was pressing for marriage after being with John for almost ten years in a live- in relationship, John Abraham was not yet prepared to tie the knot and settle into matrimonial bliss.

Mutual friends of John Abraham and Bipasha reveal that the lovely couple had already stopped making public appearances together and this was bound to happen sooner or later.

Earlier, their non-appearance at social functions and parties had been termed to be nothing serious as they were getting bored of each other after being together for so many years.

However, now it has come to light through Bipasha Basu’s close friends that the real reasons was marriage and commitment and John Abraham was not prepared to commit himself into a marital relationship at this juncture of his career.

Insiders reveal that Bipasha and John have decided to go their separate ways but if there is a need for them to appear together for professional reasons, they would not refuse to do so and will act professionally.



The buzz in the industry is that Bipasha Basu-John Abraham split was more or less on the cards after they had stopped making public appearances. They point out that the situation was so bad that if John and Bipasha had to go to the same function, even then they would go separately and at different times to avoid each other.

In fact, Bips and John were keeping track of each other’s parties and functions just to avoid being bumping into each other. Either they will avoid each other or will skip that function altogether by changing their schedules on that day.



However, this is not for the first time that John Abraham and Bipasha Basu’s relationship is in trouble. Earlier, too, John Abraham was said to have developed a soft corner for Vidya Balan during the shooting of Nikhil Advani’s ‘Salaam-e-Ishq’ and relationship with Bips was in trouble.

Then Bipasha had a fling with Saif Ali Khan during the shooting of Abbas- Mustan’s ‘Race’ and at that time John Abraham was on the verge of breaking up with the sexy bong babe over the issue. Then there was rumored kiss of Bipasha Basu to an international football player that had also cast its shadow on their relationship.
