Sweetheart! Let us rendezvous somewhere else …

Taj Mahal may be a symbol of true love to you

You maybe greatly impressed with this royal roost

My ! All this monument of so-called “love”

One can touch and feel the scabs of slavery.



You who is so impressed with this royal castlery

Should have thought of stingy houses around you and me.



Bajillions of folks have been lovers in this world

Who dares deny their love weren’t true

But they didn’t have the means to advertise their love

For they were as poor as you and me and our dog named Boo.



My ! They may also be greatly in love

Those who chiseled these marbles into Taj Mahal.



But their symbols of love are nowhere and anywhere

And no two lovers have ventured to rendezvous there!



This marbled calligraphy advertising an arranged love

A feudal king with absolute power and obscene wealth

Has insulted the love of poor people like us!
