Haalaat k garmi se pighal jaayain ge janaan

Auron ki tarah ham bh badal jaayain ge janaan

Dikhlayain ge seena na kabh ahal-e-jahaan ko

Aik aatish-e-gum-naam main jal jaayain ge janaan

Ham taaj mohabbat kaa sajaaye huay sar per

Us shahar-e-malaamat se nikal jaayain ge janaan

Aik rang-e-wafaa dekh ke khil jaaye gaa chahera

Aik azn-e-tabasum se bahal jaayain ge janaan

Taqdeer kaa shikwaa na zamane se karain ge

Tasvr se chup chaap nikal jaayain ge janaan...
