Ek hurf tassalli ka ik lafz mohabbat ka
Khud apne liye usne likha to boht royya

Pehle bhi shakiston pe khaai thi shakist usne
Lekin wo tere haathon haara tou boht royya

Itna aasan bhi na tha hasti se guzar jaana
Utra jo samandar mein to dariya boht royya

Jo shakhs na royaa kabhi tapti hui raahon mein
Deewar ke saaye mein betha to boht royya….
