juda hone ka andesha juda hone se pehle tha
woh mujhse intehaai khush khafa hone se pehle tha

junoon ka dour guzra to mujhe bhi bhool beitha wo
namaz-e-ishq tha leikin qaza hone se pehle tha

main kaise soch sakta tha wo mujhe chor jaye ga
buhat hi ba'wafa woh be wafa hone se pehle tha.
